Customer Service Representative - Work At Home Position
This is a Telecommuting position.
Job Summary: Provide customer service via phone on client specific issues while accurately capturing all customer-related information in the proper client relationship management database by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned:
- Answers incoming telephone calls, responds to customer questions and solves problems according to standardized procedures while maintaining a courteous manner.
- Logs on and off customer care system.
- Accesses account files, takes orders and processes orders.
- Asks appropriate questions and gather information to determine customer needs.
- Enters alpha and numeric data via computer keyboard into an automated system accurately.
- Uses client specific reference materials and customer service skills.
- Explains products, services, options and related charges clearly and concisely.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job requires the following home workspace, equipment and position requirements:

A dedicated work space at the principal residence free of distractions that will allow work without interruption

Standard electrical outlet near and available to workspace

High-speed Internet connection, also in same workspace, available for use during assigned work-at-home shift. No wireless Internet or Internet connection sharing.

Standard phone with headset. No wireless or cellular phones.

Call-waiting phone feature disabled, and any other features disabled that could interrupt work

Computer monitor

Internet configuration supports a wired Ethernet connection

Provide reasonable security to protect any Telvista equipment or data from theft or damage

Sign a Telecommuting Agreement

Live within a 60 mile geographical radius of the Call Center

Equipment will be provided with the agreement to return upon termination of employment

Position will initially require a period working on-site as well as maintaining performance requirements of the position. There will be on-site events/meetings and, if loss of Internet connectivity at home, may require work schedule on-site.
